“The budget shows a substantial increase in resourcing for youth mental health including additional support for people with existing mental health difficulties, an e-mental health portal, increased professional development opportunities and the expansion of headspace centres and EPPIC services across Australia. The budget has prioritised young people in remote communities and has highlighted the need to promote the inclusion of those young people who are most vulnerable –indigenous young people and young people with a disability and their carers. This is welcome news.”
