The ACYS Website Survey

Help Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies make their website, supporting youth affairs, better!

ACYS's mission is to contribute to the wellbeing of young people by providing comprehensive and up-to-date information about key issues and practices in the youth field for access by the community.

The Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies is undertaking a survey on their website www.acys.info

Our job as a clearinghouse is to provide the youth field with relevant and important information about young people. This survey is designed to gauge sector satisfaction and gather demographical and other information in order to improve our services in the youth field.

Advocates for young and vulnerable Australians are optimistic after the federal government announced an increase of $4 a week to people on Newstart and Youth Allowance.

Executive Director of the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition, Andrew Cummings is campaigning for an increase for people on the lowest benefit schemes.

He said he was pleased that this year’s federal budget recognised that Newstart and Youth Allowance provide too little to live on.
