Youth led organisations within Australia work with the experience and power of young people to achieve better outcomes across a variety of issues. Organisations led by young poeple are creative, innovative, compassionate and committed to the creation of a better world.
AYAC has been working on numerous initiatives to support the work of these groups including the development of an online hub.
Envisioned at the first ever Youth Led Convention in 2010, the online hub will serve to resource, connect, empower, and grow youth led organisations. By provision of foundational knowledge, shared experiences, and connecting up like-minded groups and people, AYAC hopes the online hub will resource youth leds to do what they do best – create change.
Working directly with youth led organisations to develop vision and functionality, AYAC is currently developing ‘phase one’ of the envisioned site.
Due for release in mid 2012, AYAC will keep you updated as the site progresses.

Back in April, AYAC's Natalie Lammas was asked to be featured in a video by a startup online magazine called 'Flying the Coop'. The video interview is centred around youth government assistance programmes and the fact that some of Australia’s youth are living below the poverty line due to our outdated welfare system.
